Shower Curtains & Rods

A good shower curtain keeps water where it belongs and gives the bathroom a fresh look in minutes. Our shower curtains in Kenya come with matching rods, so whether you rent in Kilimani or own a house in Ruaka, you can upgrade the bathroom without calling a fundi.

Types of shower curtains and rods we stock

• PEVA shower curtains: water resistant curtains measuring 180cm × 200cm with hooks included, available in several prints such as the PEVA Shower Curtain with Hooks and this design.
• Waterproof shower curtains: the Waterproof Shower Curtain for showers that see heavy daily use.
• Extendable telescopic rods: the Multipurpose Extendable Telescopic Rod adjusts to fit between two walls, handy for showers, wardrobes and windows.

Finish the bathroom with pieces from Bathroom Racks and Organizers, a soft mat from Bath Mats and Rugs and matching Soap Dishes and Dispensers.

How to choose the right shower curtain

• Measure the width of your shower opening and the height from the rod to the floor. A curtain that is too short lets water splash onto the bathroom floor.
• Pick a rod that fits your walls. A telescopic rod needs two firm walls to press against, which suits most shower alcoves in Nairobi apartments.
• Choose a print that works with your tiles and towels. Light designs make small bathrooms feel bigger.
• Plan for cleaning. PEVA curtains can be wiped down, which helps keep mould away during the cold, damp months.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the curtains come with hooks?

Our PEVA shower curtains are listed with hooks included. Check each product page for the exact contents.

Can I use a telescopic rod without drilling?

Telescopic rods are designed to hold by tension between two walls, so many customers fit them without drilling. Heavier loads may need extra support.

How do I keep my shower curtain fresh?

Wipe it down regularly, let it dry fully spread out after showers and open the bathroom window when you can to reduce damp.
